DANIEL BIRNBAUM

Film & Television Agent/ Youth Agent

Daniel has a passion for this business. Growing up, he worked as a child and teen actor, and he then continued his education at Sheridan College in their Music Theatre Performance Program.

After graduating, Daniel made the transition onto the other side of the table; producing and directing theatre, teaching, and working at various casting houses and agencies, prior to his arrival at Talent House. He currently has clients of a variety of ages, working for some of the top US and Canadian networks and production companies in Film and Television.

When not submersed in this crazy world, Daniel can be found at the gym, watching theatre, or tap dancing along with Gene Kelly on his television. He is thrilled to bring his keen eye to the film and television and youth rosters, merging everything he loves about this business.

THOMAS L. MALLON

Commercial Agent

Tom was graduated from New York Law School in 1991 and is a member of the Bar of the State of New York.  Prior to moving to Toronto from New York City in 2007 and starting at The Talent House in 2008, his experience included 10 years of working for a boutique New York City law firm, Robert Youdelman, P.C., that specialized in the literary publishing and entertainment fields.  The practice was diverse, but he most enjoyed representing theatrical creative artists including designers, directors, writers and not-for-profit theatre companies.   Tom left that firm to pursue other interests, which included starting his own law firm and continuing to represent theatrical artists that interest him.

Tom is a member of the Board of Directors of the New York City based SITI Company, an amazingly talented ensemble theatre company that performs globally.  He enjoys interesting and out of the ordinary theatrical productions. If it's 'site specific ' or 'movement based' theatre, Tom will want to be there.
