BIO:
Iain Moggach is an award-winning professional theatre director and producer based in Barrie, Ontario. Renowned for his tenure as Artistic Director of Theatre by the Bay, he has been instrumental in shaping the company’s reputation for developing and producing original plays that highlight the stories and culture of the Simcoe County region.
Born and raised in Ottawa, Iain has produced over 24 productions and directed in seven cities across Canada. His diverse repertoire includes musicals, Shakespearean classics, contemporary drama, and innovative new Canadian works.
As a director, Iain is celebrated for his meticulous preparation, collaborative approach, and commitment to fostering a working environment that is both supportive and relentlessly focused on artistic excellence.
Looking ahead, Iain is eager to collaborate with established theatre companies across Ontario and beyond. With a vision to share his work across Canada and internationally, he is excited to engage with new audiences and creative teams.
