RESUME

BIO:

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Jacquie trained through an honours performance degree from the University of Winnipeg, Fight Directors of Canada in Toronto, and several stints at the Banff Center for Arts and Creativity (Paddy Crean IOSP Stage Combat Program).  

Select choreography credits: Macbeth (Kansas State University) Vietgone, Hand to God (RMTC), Matilda (RMTC/Citadel/Arts Club), Macbeth (Bard on the Beach), The Flood Thereafter (CanStage), Indigenous Playwrights New Works Workshop (Playwrights Theatre Centre), Otello, Susannah (Manitoba Opera). 

Jacquie is a two-time recipient of the Winnipeg Theatre Award for Outstanding Choreography.  

Working in many forms of physical theatre and performance, Jacquie is also a founding member of the sketch comedy group Hot Thespian Action, has adapted/directed several site-specific operas, including La Voix Humaine, The Telephone (Manitoba Opera), Don Giovanni (Manitoba Underground Opera), and The Medium (Flipside Opera).
