RESUME

BIO:

Thomas is a director, choreographer, actor and event host from Toronto with over 20 years of experience in professional Canadian theatre.

He is known within the industry for his passion for musical theatre and knack for telling entertaining and engaging stories. Equally experienced with comedy, drama, dance, and music he prides himself on the ability to make musicals feel cohesive and seamless.

Thomas has worked as assistant director with some of Canada’s top directors at many of Canada’s most prestigious theatre companies including both the Stratford and Shaw Festivals, Theatre Calgary, The Grand Theatre, Arts Club Theatre Company and more.

He has directed musicals and plays with Tweed and Company, YES Theatre, St. Lawrence College and curated and directed events for many non-profit and charitable organizations. In 2015, Thomas produced and directed the Canadian professional premiere of Carrie: the musical as a one-night-only, sell-out concert event raising thousands of dollars for the AFC (formerly the Actors’ Fund of Canada)

Whether it’s raising funds for worthy causes or bringing audiences together to celebrate humanity, Thomas loves to create art that makes a difference in the world. He believes musical theatre has the power to heal.
