CLEO ROSE FOSTER

THEATRE ASSISTANT

Cleo joins us from London, where she spent three years with one of Europe’s leading talent agencies, swiftly working her way up from runner to assistant. Prior to this, she studied Film and Media Production at the BRIT School, although this is all she has in common with fellow graduate Adele, as anyone who as heard her singing voice would testify.

Cleo is loving her new home city of Toronto and is even getting to grips with the winter temperatures. Still, nothing will dampen her sense of style, even if it is concealed under several layers, a heavy coat, and – on occasion – Moon boots.

SERENA PAESANO

THEATRE ASSISTANT

Serena has been involved in the performing arts for as long as she can remember. She grew up dancing, singing and acting, and always knew that she wanted to be a part of the entertainment industry in whatever capacity. So, she went on to receive her BFA in Acting and Arts Management Certificate from the University of Windsor.

During her time in school, she was given the opportunity to intern at Theatre Passe Muraille as the Marketing, Fundraising and Outreach Intern. She realized that although she loves performing, she is passionate about being on the other side of the table. She is looking to build her career in the talent management side of the industry, as she is a firm believer that every piece of art deserves the right artist to ensure that the story is told how it was meant to be.

When Serena is out of the office, she loves going on new adventures. Whether that’s going on a hike on an undiscovered trail, trying out a different restaurant, travelling somewhere she’s never been, going to see a new upcoming play or even binge watching a new television show. She loves experiencing things for the first time. She can also usually be found petting, cuddling or playing with a furry friend.

RACHEL COLLINGS

FILM, TV & ANIMATION ASSISTANT

Rachel comes to the Talent House with a varied background in events operations, programming, and theatre.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts, Honours in History and Drama from Queen’s University. It was during her studies she stumbled into a string of gigs in event operations. Most recently she had the opportunity to work with the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and Toronto, as a logistics coordinator and then festival office manger. While at JFL she perfected the art of the “friendly reminder” and decided she wanted to re-focus her career in entertainment.

When she isn’t at her desk Rachel is big on comedy, Facebook marketplace, and wired headphones.

ERIKA SANTILLANA

COMMERCIAL CONSULTANT

A proud graduate of the University of Waterloo and the Musical Theatre - Performance program at Sheridan College, Erika worked professionally across Ontario and on tour in the US before taking a break and accepting a corporate job in NYC. While in NYC Erika assisted various casting directors during pilot season and began to realize that she felt more at home, and more useful, being on the ‘other side of the table’. A few years later, back in Toronto, she was lucky to gain more experience assisting a casting house before joining the Talent House team.

Erika can usually be found curled up with a good book, watching a good documentary or listening to a good podcast. Doing all of those things on a sunny beach is also always top of mind.
